The decorative detail of the Amherst handleset reflects the prestigious stature of the Georgian design period. Complete handleset includes exterior trim and Avalon lever interior pack. Solid forged brass one-piece handleset with ANSI/BHMA A156.5 Grade 1 security double cylinder deadbolt and concealed screws. It is suitable used when the door is within an arm's reach of an easily broken window or sidelight. The latchbolt is operated by a thumbpiece on the exterior and a Avalon right-handed lever on the interior. The deadbolt is operated by key both sides. Handle latch is nickel plated plainlatch bolt with 1/2" throw and deadbolt latch with 1" titanium alloy throwbolt core.
